Product introduction

Thriocol Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasm. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms.

Thriocol Tablet can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Using this medicine can cause some common side effects such as stomach pain, diarrhea, and skin rash. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should first consult their doctors before using the medicine.

Thriocol Tablet is a combination of a pain reliever and a muscle relaxant. It treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. This in turn reduces discomfort and helps in easy movement. Thriocol Tablet works by blocking chemicals in our brain that are responsible for pain sensation and swelling in the muscles. By reducing pain, it improves the quality of your life. Thriocol Tablet also helps reduce fever associated with muscular pain.

Side effects of Thriocol Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Thriocol Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Thriocol Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Thriocol Tablet works

Thriocol Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol and Thiocolchicoside, which relieves pain and relax the muscles. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm.

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Driving

It is not known whether Thriocol Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

CAUTION

Thriocol Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Thriocol Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION

Thriocol Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Thriocol Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, the use of Thriocol Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What if you forget to take Thriocol Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Thriocol Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
